"06525 Day" logo with "June 5th, 2025" and "Our code, Our town, Our community" text, celebrating a community event.

The name and date of the event are no coincidence: This June 6 specifically, the calendar will match Woodbridge’s ZIP code.  06.5.25 = 06525. The Town is transforming this rare alignment into a day-long celebration of local pride, community connection, and the unique identity of Woodbridge.

With the help of our Amity High School Senior Interns, 06525 Day will include a variety of features and community-driven engagement opportunities, including a family-friendly drop-in celebration at Pease Park from 3:30 to 6:00 PM, with pizza, ice cream, the Woodbridge Human Library, our newly re-elected Ms. President US Woodbridge, and more.

“This isn’t just a fun coincidence — it’s a unique opportunity to come together as neighbors to celebrate what makes our town special,” said First Selectman Mica Cardozo. “We hope our residents, families, and businesses will be part of this shared moment.”

In the lead-up to the event, residents are invited to take a short community survey to share their favorite local people, places, and traditions. Responses will help shape the storytelling and celebration on June 5. The survey is available on the Town website.

Local businesses are also encouraged to participate by offering special one-day promotions, discounts, or giveaways. Participating businesses will be promoted on the Town’s website, social media, and printed materials; a win-win for community connection and local commerce.

For more information about 06525 Day, take the survey, discover local deals, or sign up as a participating business, visit the 06525 Day section of the Town’s website and be sure to follow the Town’s Facebook Page for Daily Spotlights on the volunteer Boards and Commissions, Town Departments, and Local Businesses that make Woodbridge uniquely our home.
