The Town’s ad hoc Community Council is organizing this series of events that takes place in October. If your business or organization would like to host an event during the month of October, please contact Town Assistant Administrative Officer Betsy Yagla at 203-389-3403. All Fallapalooza-branded events will be listed on the Town website and Fallapalooza will be promoted throughout the town.
Fallapalooza kicks off the beginning of the month with the Recreation Department’s annual Road Race, a 5k and a 1-mile Fun Run, on Saturday, October 5. The month ends with the Woodbridge Volunteer Fire Department’s annual Truck or Treat at the Firehouse on Halloween.
“Woodbridge Fallapalooza celebrates our spirit of volunteerism, our history, our agricultural heritage and our local business community,” said First Selectman Beth Heller. “I’d like to encourage local businesses and organizations to participate and I thank the Community Council for organizing and promoting this month-long series of events.”
Another great way to get the word out about all your events is through the Town’s online community calendar. Local businesses and organizations may now submit events to the Town’s calendar by visiting woodbridgect.org/calendar.aspx and clicking on “submit an event.” Please be sure to include an email address in case there’s a question about the submission.
