Betty (Bray) D’Ostilio

Betty (Bray) D’Ostilio, 80 of Oronoque Village, Stratford, wife of Frank D’Ostilio Sr., died peacefully in her home on Thanksgiving Day after a long illness. Born in Bridgeport, December 29, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Edith Bray.

Betty lived most of her life in Orange and Stratford. She had many longtime friends and loved to have them and their families over to the family swimming pool in Orange for picnics and parties. It would infuriate her if it was a beautiful sunny day and nobody was using the pool. She truly enjoyed when her boys and their friends were playing in the yard and pool.

Besides, her husband of 53 years, she is survived by her sons Frank (Mary) D’Ostilio of Woodbridge and Robert (Alyssa) D’Ostilio of Cheshire, and grandchildren, Andrew, Mark, Luke, Lily and Christina.

A funeral Mass on Saturday November 29, 2014, was held at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 81 Center Road, Woodbridge. Burial was private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice in honor of Betty. To offer online condolences, please visit www.Larsonfh.com.
