Business After Hours to Provides Networking Opportunities

Woodbridge First Selectman Ellen Scalettar and the Woodbridge Economic Development Commission invite Woodbridge businesses to the first Woodbridge Business After Hours.

This Business After Hours event will be a happy hour at Wheelers Restaurant (180 Amity Road) on Tuesday June 2 from 5:30-7 p.m. The goal is to create business networking opportunities and to better support local businesses.

“This will be a wonderful opportunity for Woodbridge businesses to come together and learn from each other and about each other,” said Scalettar.

“I am proud to host the first Woodbridge Business After Hours event,” said Rob LaTronica, the general manager and partner at Wheelers. “First Selectman Ellen Scalettar has been very supportive of Woodbridge businesses and we all win with a stronger business community.”

Scalettar has been visiting new and expanding businesses to welcome them to Woodbridge and finding ways to create a stronger bond between Town Hall and the Town’s business community and strengthen economic development in Woodbridge.

Additionally, the Town’s Economic Development Commission has been inviting new and expanding businesses to its monthly meetings in order to learn about those businesses and why they chose Woodbridge.

If you’d like to attend the happy hour or host a future happy hour, contact Town Assistant Administrative Officer Betsy Yagla at 203-389-3403 or byagla@woodbridgect.org.
