Claire Coleman is an attorney in the New Haven office of Wiggin and Dana LLP, where she represents clients in civil and criminal proceedings, conducts internal investigations, and counsels clients on regulatory compliance issues.
Before joining Wiggin and Dana, Claire served as Counsel for the Democratic staff of the U.S. House of Representatives, Oversight and Government Reform Committee, where she conducted Congressional investigations and worked on a wide range of national policy issues. Claire also served as a Deputy Voter Protection Coordinator for the 2008 Obama Campaign for Change in Indiana, and was a litigation associate at Brune & Richard LLP and Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York.
Claire earned her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law, cum laude and Order of the Coif, and her B.A in Government with distinction from Cornell University. Between college and law school, she served as a Team Leader with the Americorps National Civilian Community Corps.
Claire is a 1995 graduate of Amity Regional High School.
