Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Receive Numerous Awards

JOHN PROTO ACHIEVES ACCREDITED COMMERCIAL AGENT DESIGNATION

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, now also operating as Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT, is pleased to announce that Hamden resident John Proto, REALTOR, affiliated with the company’s Woodbridge office, has been awarded the Accredited Commercial Agent designation.

To obtain the Accredited Commercial Agent designation, John has successfully completed more than 50 hours of education, and must attend monthly advanced seminars and webinars. Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT sales associates who complete this educational program have been extensively trained in commercial sales, leases, exchanges, buyer and tenant representation, negotiations and financial analysis investments.

“John has acquired the necessary skills to help buyers, sellers and tenants with commercial transactions,” said Cathleen Smith, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y. “By completing this course, John is developing the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the real estate industry and is demonstrating his dedication and commitment to his clients and customers,” said Jim Brunette, Director of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT Eastern Seaboard Region.

Proto has been licensed in the State of CT since 2003 and is a member of the National Real Estate Educations Association and an instructor at the New Haven & Middlesex Association of REALTORS. He’s obtained the designations of Military Relocation Professional, Certified Residential Specialist, Accredited Buyer Representative and Senior’s Real Estate Specialist from the National Association of REALTORS and is also USAA and Cartus Relocation and Inventory Certified.

His involvement with his community includes working with families and people suffering from dementia through the Alzheimer’s Association. He is also a volunteer for the Shoreline Trolley Museum and is a member of the Hamden Land Conservation Trust, the Whitneyville Civic Association and holds title as a Justice of the Peace in the State of CT.

JUDY COOPER RECEIVES COLDWELL BANKER® INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT’S CIRCLE AWARD

Judy Cooper of Woodbridge, a sales associate affiliated with the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Woodbridge, has been recognized with the Coldwell Banker® International President’s Circle award. This distinguished honor is awarded to the top 6 percent of approximately 87,000 sales associates worldwide in the Coldwell Banker® system.

Judy will be honored during a special celebration at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich on May 14. Each year, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage recognizes the work of exceptional sales associates and sales teams through its distinguished awards program. Judy was the #1 selling and listing agent in the town of Woodbridge, for all companies, for 2014, and consistently ranked as the top listing and selling agent in the community for the last 5 years, according to CTMLS.

With more than 35 years of experience, Judy has been successfully meeting the needs of homebuyers and sellers in the towns of Woodbridge, Westville, Orange, and Bethany. She has several professional designations including C.E.U. Harvard Law School; Mediation Program, C.E.U. Harvard Law School; Advanced Programs of Negotiations, Accredited Buyer Representation, Certified Residential Specialist, Professional Standards Certified Specialist, Graduate, Realtors Institute, Senior Real Estate Specialist and Certified Negotiation Expert.

She has also been recognized the Five Star Real Estate Agent Award for the past five years. Judy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree Phi Beta Kappa from Rutgers University and a Master of Arts degree from University of Pennsylvania.

Dalia Coleman of Woodbridge, a sales associate affiliated with the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Woodbridge, has been recognized with the Coldwell Banker® International Sterling Society award. This distinguished honor is awarded to the top 17 percent of approximately 87,000 sales associates worldwide in the Coldwell Banker® system.

Coleman will be honored during a special celebration at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich on May 14. Invited guests will enjoy food, music and dancing.
