The annual Woodbridge Thanksgiving service this year will be hosted by Congregation B’Nai Jacob, 75 Rimmon Road, on Monday, November 25, at 7 p.m.
The annual gathering is open to all and is being co-sponsored by Our Lady of the Assumption Church, First Church of Christ, Congregation B’Nai Jacob, Trinity Evangelical and the Church of Latter Day Saints. Usually clergy of the different houses of worship lead different parts of the liturgy, and a joint choir adds to the spirit of Thanksgiving.
Typically, a reception will follow after the service, at which neighbors and friends can gather.
The collection is for the Warm Hearts, Warm Homes campaign that supports the town’s fuel and food fund. Cash or checks are accepted and should be made out to the Woodbridge Fuel/Food Fund. They can also be mailed to Woodbridge Human Services Department, 11 Meetinghouse Lane, 06525.
