Connecticut’s top officials came to Woodbridge to honor and support the candidacy of First Selectman Ellen Scalettar for her re-election. The Committee to re-elect Ellen Scalettar held a fundraising event at the home of Paul Kuriakose and Neelima Kaushal at 15 Nettleton Drive on Wednesday, April 1st.
Guests included U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, U.S. Senator Chris Murphy, U.S. Representative Rosa DeLauro, Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman, Connecticut Attorney General George Jepsen, Connecticut State Comptroller Kevin Lembo, State Senators Joe Crisco and Gayle Slossberg and New Haven Mayor Toni Harp.
In her twenty-plus years in public service as a State Representative, Assistant State Treasurer, legislative policy director, and now as First Selectman, Scalettar has worked directly and extensively with all of these distinguished leaders. Their collective endorsement of her speaks volumes about her extensive experience and leadership capabilities.
