Claudio Sanfrancesco has owned Jeffrey’s Restaurant by Claudio in Milford for 8 years and recently made some great changes at this popular location. The restaurant is now called “Seasons by Jeffrey’s” with the concept of changing the menu three to four times a year using the freshest seasonal farm grown and organic ingredients from local high quality purveyors. Claudio recently added Aaron Magun to his staff as Executive Chef. Aaron, an Amity High School graduate grew up in Woodbridge and attended Johnson & Wales for his culinary training. This talented and creative Chef had been working in California and decided the time was right to return to his roots in Connecticut.
Jeffrey’s Restaurant from the very beginning had an excellent reputation for outstanding food and service. Claudio has maintained the stellar reputation and also worked hard to make some great improvements including a private room that features French doors, cozy fireplace and seating to accommodate parties up to 35. The exquisite, yet comfortable dining room offers sweeping views of the salt marsh with elegant furnishings including linen tablecloths and napkins. In the summertime you can sit out on the patio and enjoy the lovely flowers and singing birds.
One of the most appealing features at Seasons by Jeffrey’s is talented Pianist and Vocalist Ray Cranshaw. This soft-spoken gentleman plays mellow dinner music in the dining room every day for lunch and dinner. Ray is an incredible performer and is extremely popular with the regular clientele. Many evenings you will find guests being serenaded by Claudio himself. He is a true gentleman and the ultimate host with a gift of making his customers feel like they are very welcome and part of his family. I am a true believer of good customer service and Claudio is definitely #1 by far.
Seasons by Jeffrey’s is a favorite with the local business community hosting many of their corporate events along with numerous private parties. Seasons by Jeffrey’s is the perfect location for a wedding with the amazing views, upscale interior, and top notch food. They can accommodate up to 120 and have an exterior gazebo for the ceremony.
The menu is filled with exciting dishes and flavors for every palette. In addition to the appetizers, salads, and entrees, you will love the soups and warm, crusty bread made daily. ll desserts are house made and I highly recommend the “warm lava cake with cappuccino gelato & almond crackle”. Seasons is now offering a “Prefix of the Week” 4 course menu available Sunday-Friday including appetizer, salad, entrée, dessert & coffee for $35.00. Ladies night every Thursday offers all ladies 50% off all food and drinks. Happy Hour Monday-Friday also featuring 50% off all drinks and appetizers in the cozy bar. Seasons by Jeffrey’s menus may be viewed on its website below or on Facebook as well. I also have to mention that they received outstanding reviews from Zagat with one of the highest ratings in Connecticut stating “for a special night out fans head to this upscale Milford establishment for “inventive” very well executed Continental-New American Cuisine served by a staff that “aims to please” in “classy” surroundings”.
