Edee Lockyer

Zoning Board of Appeals

Edith Louise Dahlin Lockyer – known to all as “Edee”, is a lifelong Woodbridge resident and long-time town volunteer. Edee is running for the Zoning Board of Appeals. The ZBA requires one to have an excellent working knowledge of Woodbridge Zoning Regulations. Equally important, however, is a thorough understanding of our town – its roads, topography, neighborhoods, etc. Edee’s extensive and varied volunteer background gives her a unique and valuable perspective of Woodbridge. Edee’s 50+ years of volunteer service to our town include being involved in Cub Scouts, Woodbridge Recreation Department, Amity and Woodbridge Historical Society, Milfordside Burying Ground and Woodbridge Senior Center, among many other volunteer activities. Edee was named Woodbridge Senior Center Volunteer of the Year in 2013. When asked why she is interested in running for the Zoning Board of Appeals, Edee stated “I believe I can provide a fair-minded, non-partisan voice of experience to the Zoning Board of Appeals. I have worked for decades on countless private and government boards with people of varied backgrounds and political affiliations. I feel strongly that politics must be put aside and the good of the Town must always come first.”
