F and J Urbano Company, a Woodbridge family owned and operated business, has a demonstrated history of restoring and maintaining Woodbridge’s historical integrity and contributing to the Town’s economic development. The Company, owned and run by Jim and Diane Urbano of North Pease Road, was a key player in the restoration of the Old South School on Johnson Road and Massaro Community Farm’s farmhouse and barn on Ford Road.
Please join our appreciation for their most recent achievement. In September of 2020, F and J Urbano Company received an Award of Merit from Preservation Connecticut for the restoration of the Thomas Bevins House on Sperry Road in Woodbridge. An appropriate homage to their grit and commitment to historic preservation, this was the only residence awarded, along with 11 other structures throughout Connecticut, out of 112 nominations. Two hundred and twenty years following its erection, the Thomas Bevins House and its revitalized working lands, are admired and appreciated again by its homeowners and passersby who enjoy the serenity of this quaint farmhouse. Congratulations Jim and Diane, and thank you.
