Frank Ciarleglio is a third-generation resident of a five generation Woodbridge family. He attended the Warner School on Lucy Street for grades K-7 and graduated from Amity High School in 1959. He has been married to his wife Janet for 55 years. Frank and Janet have 2 children, both Amity High graduates and two granddaughters, both of whom will have graduated from Amity High School as of June 2018.
Frank has worked and lived in Woodbridge for his entire life, except for 2-1/2 years when he was employed by the FBI in Washington, DC and New Haven. After leaving the FBI he spent seven years as a Police Officer with the Woodbridge Police Department. In addition, Frank was the owner/operator of a school bus for the Amity School System for 47 years and the owner of Ciarleglio Landscaping for 32 years. He also spent many years working with his father, a former Woodbridge Police Chief, building houses in Woodbridge and neighboring towns.
Frank is lifelong parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Woodbridge and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He served as Town Chairman for the Special Olympics in 1995, was on the committee to refurbish the Amity Athletic fields and is a member of the FBI Alumni Association.
