Exciting news! The Friends of the Woodbridge Library have opened a new space for its book sale! After six months of organizing and revamping, the Friends of the Woodbridge Library have relocated its book sale to the corridor on the mezzanine level of the library, now named the “Book Alley”. Shoppers are free to browse and buy during library hours and can pay for their purchases at the Circulation Desk.
The Friends have received many wonderful, gently used book donations and will keep their current prices. Hardcover adult books are $2.00 and softcover are 3 for $1.00. Children’s books are $1.00 for hardcover and 3 for $1.00 for softcover. DVDs are $1.00 and audiobooks are $3.00.
All proceeds go directly to the Woodbridge Town Library. The Friends of the Library help fund all of the library’s adult, teen, and children’s programs, museum passes, and services. Additionally, funds also help buy equipment and technology for all to use.
Please join us at our grand opening celebration of the Book Alley on Thursday, November 19th at 2:00p.m. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the new book sale location and light refreshments will be served.
Save the Date: On Saturday, December 12th the Friends of the Woodbridge Library will host a one day holiday sale at the Book Alley with special holiday gift options. The library will also offer coffee, tea, hot chocolate and refreshments in the lobby.
