Friends of the Woodbridge Library Bring Back Mini-Golf, March 8 & 9

Friends of the Woodbridge Library Bring Back Mini-Golf, March 8 & 9

The Friends of the Woodbridge Library’s next Mini-Golf fundraiser will be held on Friday and Saturday, March 8 & 9, at the Woodbridge Town Library, 10 Newton Road, Woodbridge. On Friday night, the Library will re-open from 6:00-9:00 p.m.; adults (18+) can play Mini-Golf and partake of appetizers and refreshments served at the “Nineteenth Hole” in the Meeting Room. This evening is FREE to members of the Friends of the Library. If you don’t already have a membership, they may be purchased at the door, with prices starting at $10 for seniors. On Saturday, Mini-Golf will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for adults and families. Admission: Children (age 5+) $3, Adults $5, Family $15.

After last year’s Mini-Golf event was a smash hit, many sponsors will be returning, but there is room for a few more. Sponsorship at $250 per hole is an opportunity to memorably showcase a business, while also supporting your library. Sponsors are invited to promote their business with advertising, business cards and/or handouts. Sponsors may decorate their hole themselves or the Friends can help design a hole to best promote your business. For a $100 donation, sponsors’ names will appear on the players’ scorecards and in all publicity.

The Friends are also looking for local food and beverage sponsors for the “Nineteenth Hole” on Friday, March 8.

If interested, please contact contact the Friends for details at 203-389-3493 or  woodbridgectfriends@gmail.com.

The Friends of the Woodbridge Library is a 501c (3) not-for-profit organization. Contributions from the Friends provide the Library with books, programs, equipment, and professional training for staff that would otherwise not be funded. The Friends’ support of the Library covers hundreds of activities for all ages from preschool story times to cooking demonstrations, movie nights, and statewide museum passes.
