The Garden Club of Woodbrige will hold a plant sale on Saturday May 14, 2016 from 9:00am – 12:00pm in the Grove behind the old Fire Station in Woodbridge Center. A wide variety of native perennials and shrubs will be available with an emphasis on native plants. The Garden Club is committed to promoting a healthy natural environment in our rural town by encouraging residents to choose native flowers, trees and shrubs. The sale will also include a selection of easy to grow herbs and a tag sale of garden related items.
Thursday, June 2, 2016 – The Garden Club of Woodbridge presents its Annual Fundraiser and Luncheon, “Less is More.” Speaker: Michael Derouin, Director of Floral Design at McArdle’s in Greenwich. Location: Birchwood’s at Oak Lane, Oak Lane Country Club, 1027 Racebrook Road, Woodbridge, 11:45 a.m. Tickets, $40.
Proceeds from this sale support the Garden Club’s efforts in programs open to the public and maintenance of our town gardens.
