The Garden Club of Woodbridge had a fascinating speaker, Dr. Gale E. Ridge from the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station at its September meeting. Dr. Ridge discussed the biology of bed bugs, precautions while traveling, and steps to take if bed bugs do get into your home.
The club asked members to bring to the meeting their home-grown plants to be critiqued. Members get valuable information about what and how to exhibit horticulture at the Federated Garden Clubs of CT Annual Flower and Garden Show.
Also, at the meeting members swapped plants from their gardens at the club’s annual plant exchange.
We welcome new members; if you have an interest in joining, please contact Judy at 203-376-1002 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
