Help the Amity Teen Center Become Energy Efficient

The Amity Teen Center, Inc. (ATC) is a 501©3 nonprofit organization established in 1987 to provide a safe environment for area teenagers after school and on weekends. The ATC purchased and renovated a building at 10 Selden Street in Woodbridge, which opened in 2006 for its activities. Energy costs have steadily risen and have reduced funds available to operations. Therefore, the ATC has applied for funding under the Neighborhood Assistance Act for its Energy Conservation Program. We are seeking sponsors to help fund: 1) Electrical and HVAC upgrades and 2) Energy efficient siding and windows.

CORPORATIONS THAT PAY CONNECTICUT INCOME TAX CAN RECEIVE A 100% STATE TAX CREDIT FOR DONATIONS FOR THESE PURPOSES. IN EFFECT EVERY DOLLAR DONATED IS OFFSET BY THE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSISTANCE TAX CREDIT. YOU ARE HELPING THE AMITY TEEN CENTER AT NO COST TO YOUR COMPANY AS WELL AS IMPROVING THE ENVIRONMENT.

The contribution must be made after September 15, 2016 and no later than October 1, 2016.        The 2016 Connecticut Neighborhood Act Business Application can be found at http://www.ct.gov/drs/lib/drs/fillable_forms/2016forms/naa-02-fillable.pdf.
