Incumbent candidate for the Zoning Board of Appeals Henry J. Nusbaum, a physician at Bristol Hospital, is running for re-election in order to continue “to participate in making Woodbridge a better place to live by providing good governance,” he says.
Dr. Nusbaum has lived in Woodbridge since 1999 with his wife Judith Mambler, a dentist and retired US Navy Captain. Their daughter Gabrielle is an Amity High School student. He also has two grown children, Josh and Juliet.
He received his BS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, his MS from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn, his PhD from MIT, and his MD from Albany Medical College. He most recently received an MBA from UConn in May 2016. Dr. Nusbaum brings discerning analytical skills and great integrity to his current volunteer work on the ZBA where he has served since 2005, and prior to that on the Board of Tax Assessment Appeals.
