It would be an honor to again serve our Town acting in the best interest of all parties involved, both the Town and its residents.
My husband, Paul D’Ostilio, and I have been residents of Woodbridge for 30 years. We moved to Woodbridge because we enjoyed the quaint, rural feeling of the town which also provided us access to major roads and thruways we needed for our work.
I was born and raised in CT and have a BS in Accounting from the University of Bridgeport and an MS in Taxation from the University of New Haven. As a Tax Partner of Venman & Co. LLC, a CPA firm in Shelton CT, I act as both a tax and financial advisor to a wide variety of businesses and not for profit organizations throughout CT and many individuals who reside throughout the US.
Several years ago, I served as Chairman of the Board of Assessment and Appeals and then I was appointed to serve on of the Board of Finance, where I voted on matters to ensure that your tax dollars were spent in fiscally responsible ways.
I now seek reelection to the Board of Assessments and Appeals, a position that I am very qualified for due to my prior experience on this Board and my career experience with clients of my firm.
I look forward to “giving back” and once again helping our town residents to be treated fairly in the Appeals process related to their tax assessment made by the Town with a clear understanding of the law and the rights of the Town.
I would greatly appreciate your vote on May 3- Vote Row B.
