Good news! My proposal to make common sense and overdue reforms to Connecticut’s public pension system will receive a public hearing. My Bill #150 would prohibit overtime payments, longevity pay and reimbursement for mileage from the calculation of retirement income of state employees. I am pleased to say that these ideas have received bipartisan support, and while the Appropriations Committee hearing date has yet to be finalized, you can weigh in on this idea today.
