The Friends of Woodbridge Library would like to thank everyone in our town, those that visited from neighboring towns, our volunteers and the dedicated library staff for making the Friends Annual Book Sale a spectacular success. The sale was once again located in the Library’s beautiful Woodbridge Room – the original town library. This location receives so many compliments because the Woodbridge Room creates the perfect book-buying atmosphere. Our sale’s success is due to the wonderful donations we receive from the community, and from the tireless volunteers who sort, clean and organize the books, CDs and DVDs.
A huge thank you to the volunteers and the fabulous interns from Amity High School who are an integral part of setting up the sale and a shout out of thanks to those Woodbridge families who live on main roads and proudly displayed our Book Sale signs – we couldn’t have done so well without you!
The money raised at the Book Sale will be used by the Library for programming, museum passes and to purchase new books.
After a busy summer the Friends are back at work stocking Book Store Alley (located on the mezzanine level), so please remember us with all your used book donations.
Thank you again, Woodbridge for all your support.
