On Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 3pm to 7pm, Marrakech will be holding a Career Open House Event at 6 Lunar Drive, Woodbridge, CT. Attendees will learn about working at Marrakech and will have the opportunity to meet with the recruitment team for on-the-spot interviews. Anyone attending should come prepared for an interview, and bring two letters of recommendation and/or previous employment evaluations. Marrakech is currently seeking staff in all areas of the state including New Haven, Fairfield, and Hartford Counties to assist individuals who face barriers to securing employment, connecting to necessary supportive services, accessing housing, and participating fully as contributing members of the community. The individuals we serve are encouraged to strive for long-term goals such as a higher level of self-sufficiency and greater acceptance by the community in which they live. There are positions to match any availability with part-time, full-time, and per-diem openings. While having Human Services experience is a plus it is not necessary; Marrakech will train the right candidate. Potential staff should be compassionate, caring, and dedicated to helping others. The list of current openings and the online application can be found at https://usr54.dayforcehcm.com/CandidatePortal/en-US/marrakech.
Potential staff must be 18 or older, hold a valid Connecticut Driver’s License, and provide a copy of their high school diploma, GED, or college transcripts. The hiring and promotion of staff will be based upon qualifications without regard to race, color, sex, pregnancy, religion, age, marital status, national origin, ancestry, disability (including past or present mental learning or physical disability), sexual orientation, genetic information, protected activity or any other basis prohibited by law. All staff must be legally able to work in their position. Marrakech is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug Free Workplace.
For over 45 years, Marrakech has been providing person-centered, unique and cost effective supports to children and adults with and without disabilities across Connecticut. To learn more about Marrakech, visit: www.marrakechinc.org.
