Marrakech, Inc., a nonprofit human service organization based in Woodbridge, held its 3rd Annual Health and Wellness Fair on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the JCC of Greater New Haven. Hancock Pharmacy was the Title Sponsor. Ovation Benefits and Dr. Jennifer Botwick, N.D. of the New Haven Naturopathic Center also sponsored the event.
Attendees were able to get a number of health screenings done including blood pressure and glucose screenings from Cornell Scott Hill Health Center, hearing screenings conducted by students and faculty of SCSU’s Department of Communication Disorders, and mammograms on St. Vincent’s Mammo-Van. Flu shots were also provided by VNA Community Healthcare and the JCC of Greater New Haven provided free chair massages as well as a kickboxing demo.

The fair was open to the community, drawing hundreds of people throughout the morning.
