The Woodbridge Police Department recently welcomed a new patrol officer, Stefano Mauriello, to the force.

Officer Mauriello joined the Department following a career of several years with the Waterbury Police Department where he served in its Patrol Division as a Field Training Officer and as a member of the Crisis Intervention Team.  He is a graduate of both Johnson and Wales University and Post University, and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.

Police Chief Frank Cappiello stated that Officer Mauriello’s experience and positive attributes will be an asset to the Department and the community.  He congratulated Officer Mauriello on his accomplishments thus far and wished him the best for a successful, rewarding and safe career with the Woodbridge Police Department.
