Orange Congregational Church, located at 205 Meeting House Lane, welcomes you to join us for our upcoming holiday services.  On Sunday, November 19th we will have regular worship services at 8 a.m. in the Chapel and 10 a.m. in the Sanctuary followed by fellowship hour with coffee and snacks.

An Open House for Ten Thousand Villages is being sponsored by the church and will take place at the store’s location in New Haven on 1054 Chapel Street.  Shopping for gifts there on November 19th from 1-5 p.m. will benefit a charity chosen by our Christian Service and Outreach team.

The annual Orange Interfaith Thanksgiving Service will take place on the evening of November 19th at 7:00 p.m.  Our host this year will be Congregation Or Shalom at 205 Old Grassy Hill Road.  Orange Congregational’s junior choir director, Cynthia Chandler, will be leading a combined youth choir and the service will be led with joint participation from the Orange clergy.

Orange Congregational Church will begin Advent on Sunday, December 3rd with our annual Cookie Walk where you can purchase a box of homemade goodies after each worship service at 8 & 10 a.m.  After the later service there will also be an Alternative Gift Fair at coffee hour where, along with yummy snacks and coffee, there will be a Living Market for Heifer Project, crafts, quilt-tying, and a ‘Christmas Past’ Bazaar.  At four o’clock in the afternoon of December 3rd we will celebrate with a Handbell Concert & Carol Sing that is free and open to the public, followed by a Tree-lighting on the Orange Town Green.

On Sunday December 17th we will have Advent services at 8 a.m. in the Chapel and also at 10 a.m. in the Sanctuary, when the youth and children will put on a festive Christmas Pageant.  After service, our Pilgrim Fellowship youth will go caroling.  For more information or any questions, please call the church office at 203-795-9749.
