Ornstein Named Student of the Month

The Woodbridge Rotary Club recently honored Bethany resident Haley Ornstein as Amity High School Student of the Month. Ms. Ornstein was presented with a certificate of recognition by Rotarian Dr. Guy Stella.

Ms. Ornstein was nominated by Amity High School Counselor Alison Staak. Ms. Ornstein has been very involved both at the school and in the community. She was a goalie for the soccer team, participated in unified sports at the high school playing sports with students with disabilities, and is a member of LinkCrew, the Amity High School freshman orientation program. She also has mentored students in math and science.

Haley will be spending the summer as a Camp Counselor at Camp Laurelwood.

The Student of the Month Program is co-sponsored by the Woodbridge Social Restaurant, 12 Selden Street, Woodbridge.
