As we conclude our 3rd year as “Your Hometown Newspaper”, I would like to take this opportunity to wish a Happy Holiday & New Year to all of our loyal readers. 2014 was a another great year for Woodbridge and while more and more businesses struggle in a sluggish economy, the Woodbridge Town News has done its best to continue providing our advertisers with affordable rates and a means to promote their products and services in a cost effective manner. We strive to enhance our content as well as our readership within and outside of the Woodbridge community. As our sister paper, the “Orange Town News”, continues to grow, area residents have come to rely on our publications as their source for positive community news, events and happenings. Woodbridge residents certainly deserve no less.
As we reach another year’s end, I would like to commend our staff of professional writers and contributors at the Woodbridge Town News – Laura Fantarella, Bettina Thiel, Susan Noonan, Roberta Nestor & Ray Spaziani. My editor Marlene Silverstein (who has been with us since day one) and our production department of Mike Kriz and Katie Carbone continue to produce top notch publications that area residents can be proud of.
In addition, the loyalty of our advertisers and their continued support through their patronage of the WTN has not gone unnoticed.
My heartfelt thanks go out to the hundreds of townspeople who submit their letters, articles, photos, bulletin board events and more. While our paper has grown to as many as 36 pages, do not worry; we will continue to make room to publish your local news and events, no matter how big or small.
In addition, as we look towards 2015 we will be launching newly enhanced websites for our publications.
Lastly, I would like to personally wish you all a Safe, Happy and Healthy 2015.
Rocky Salperto – Publisher – Woodbridge Town News, Orange Town News
