Second Annual Logan Testa Memorial Triathlon

The Woodbridge Recreation Dept. will hold its second Annual Logan Testa Memorial Kid’s Triathlon on Saturday, June 11, 2022, 9 am.  Join this family event where children compete in three athletic timed events:  swimming, biking and running.

Logan was a longtime participant of the Woodbridge Recreation programs.  We are excited to be honoring Logan’s life and his family’s commitment to our programming.

Awards will be given to all participants.  It is recognized that all athletes are winners for their stamina and spirit to compete regardless of time!

Registration deadline (online or in person at the Woodbridge Recreation Dept.) is Friday, May 20, noon.  Due to the amount of preparation for this event, registrations will not be accepted after May 20.

They will be held on Tuesday Evenings in July, from 6 to 8 pm, at the Woodbridge Town Green.  July 5 is the Beatles tribute band “Britishmania”, featuring music from the Beatles.  July 12 features “Boogie Chillun” (History of music featuring:  Country, Blues, Jazz, Rock and Soul music).  July 19 features “Abe Ovadia trio” – Jazz music.  July 26 is the “Rumrunners” (Classic Rock).  In case of inclement weather, check the Town website woodbridgect.org for rain date information.

Tennis Permits

For use of all Town public tennis courts for the playing of pickleball or tennis, please contact the Woodbridge Recreation Department for a no-cost permit to reserve your times.  (Multiple times and days can be reserved for up to three weeks.)  Permits are available from April 15th to November 1st – three weeks in advance.  Permits for court times can be reserved by Woodbridge residents and registered nonresident pickleball players only.  Contact our department at (203) 389-3446, Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm.  Pickleball and tennis permits will be emailed to you.  Once reserved you must have your permit with you while you are playing.  This will be proof you have reserved that court for that specific time period.
