Residents Invited to Discussion on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

The Woodbridge Ad Hoc Committee on Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion invites residents to a community discussion led by Connecticut Poet Laureate Antoinette Brim-Bell on Tuesday, January 17th at 6:30pm.  The event will be held in the Terrace Room at the JCC of Greater New Haven located at 360 Amity Road in Woodbridge.

“As the state’s representative poet, the Poet Laureate serves as an advocate for poetry and promotes the appreciation of — and participation in — poetry and literary arts activities among Connecticut citizens” (portal.ct.gov).

The event is a part of the “Mosaic:  Woodbridge Reading in Community” series which offers opportunities for residents to have thought-provoking conversations with their neighbors that deepen our understanding of each other and the diversity of our community.

For more information and to RSVP for the event, please email woodbridgedei@gmail.com.  To learn more about Antoinette Brim-Bell visit antoinettebrimbell.com.  To learn more about the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, please visit woodbridgect.org.
