Bob and his wife Carolann have lived in Woodbridge for 37 years. All three of their children attended Beecher Road School and graduated from Amity Regional High School.
Bob graduated from Yale University and the NYU School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Montefiore Hospital in New York and his residency in ophthalmology at Tufts University in Boston. His vitreoretinal fellowship was completed at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Professionally, Bob has a private ophthalmology practice specializing in vitreoretinal diseases in New Haven. He is an Attending Ophthalmologist at Yale New Haven Hospital, a Consultant in Ophthalmology at Griffin Hospital, an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at Yale University School of Medicine and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery (Ophthalmology) at UCONN School of Medicine. Bob is a Member and Past President of the Board of Governors of the NYU School of Medicine. He is a Fellow of Ezra Stiles College of Yale University.
Bob is a long time member of the Woodbridge Republican Town Committee. He has participated for many years in the Amity High School College Fair and has interviewed numerous Amity students on behalf of Yale University.
Bob successfully applied for forest and open space designations for land in Woodbridge. This effort allowed him to gain extensive knowledge of the Woodbridge Zoning and Wetlands regulations.
