Woodbridge Rotary Club recently welcomed Spencer Rubin who was installed as the newest member of the Club by Rotarian Tony Anastasio. Spencer Rubin is a lifelong resident of Woodbridge who attended Beecher Road School and the Amity Regional School system. After attending Amity High School, he attended Southern Connecticut State University graduating with a B.S. degree in Political Science.
Spencer is an Outreach Coordinator for the Connecticut House Republicans working for State Representative Themis Klarides and twelve other State Representatives. Prior to his current position, he worked on Mark Greenberg’s Campaign for Congress in the 5th Congressional District and was a Legislative Coordinator for Gaffney Bennett and Associates.
This past May, he was elected to the Zoning Board of Appeals becoming the youngest elected official in the Town of Woodbridge. Spencer Rubin stated, “I joined the Rotary Club to give back to the community that has given me so much.”

The Woodbridge Rotary Club meets the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month at 7:30 a.m. for a breakfast meeting at the Country Corner Diner, 756 Amity Road, Bethany and the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month for a lunch meeting at 12:15 p.m. at the Woodbridge Social Restaurant, 12 Selden Street, Woodbridge, CT.
