The Rotary Club of Woodbridge recently participated in the New England Rotary Million Mask Challenge Tour. A million masks were donated to Rotary by the Rossi Family Foundation to be distributed to local groups that the clubs identify. Woodbridge Rotary distributed 1,500 masks, 500 to each of the three senior health facilities in town: The Willows, Coachman Square, and The Linden.
President Anna Dickerson, Past President Diane Millan, President-Elect Neelima Kaushal and Rotarian Dorothy Martino met with officials of the three locations and presented the masks to be used for staff and residents. Neelima’s daughter Rhea, a high school volunteer, took the photos. Woodbridge Rotary also will soon be receiving 500 children’s masks (with a dinosaur design) which will be distributed in Woodbridge, Bethany and Westville.
The Rotary Club of Woodbridge members are business and professional people who work or live in the area. The club has been active in community service projects to Woodbridge, Bethany and Westville since 1971. To learn more about Rotary, e-mail Anna Dickerson at email@example.com.
