Senior Center Happenings: 10/9/15

The Woodbridge Senior Center Holiday Fair will be held Saturday, November 7th from 10:00 to 3:00 in the Center gym at 4 Meetinghouse Lane. The fair this year will feature hand-crafted items, new costume jewelry, cookies, cakes, bread, and a great tag sale table. The Take-A-Chance Auction and the Silent Auction tables will be back again this year. A variety of food and beverages will be available in the cafeteria. Each person attending the fair will be given a ticket to win a great door prize. Santana Rubbish Removal has donated one year of trash removal for a Woodbridge resident and the Senior Center is donating free lunch for one year to a person 60 years of age or older. *Amity H.S. * October 22 * 4 P.M. To 6 P.M.* Please join us for an International-Intergenerational evening that will feature entertainment by the Amity High School Jazz Band & international refreshments will be served. Fee is $5.00 & transportation is available at no charge for Woodbridge seniors. Call the Senior Center at 203-389-3430 to make your reservation.

Book Club

On Tuesday, October. 27th at 11:00 a.m., the book club will meet at the Woodbridge Library Meeting Room to discuss “Circling The Sun” by Paula Mclain. Refreshments will be served. Call Lee at 203-389-3430 for more information. New book club members are always welcome.

Bridge Players

If you like to play Bridge, our friendly group always welcomes new players. The group is informal and meets at the Center on Wednesdays and Fridays at 1:00 in the lounge. If you would like more information, please call Lee at 203-389-3450.


The Woodbridge Senior Center is accepting orders for pies which will be available for pick up on the day of our Holiday Fair, November 7th between the hours of 10:00 & 3:00. Please choose from the list below and call the Senior Center at 203-389-3430 to order your pies. Please make checks out to Woodbridge Senior Center. The cut-off date for ordering is October 31st. All proceeds from the Pie Sale will benefit the Senior Center.

Join us for lunch at the Woodbridge Senior Center. Lunch is served at 12:15 every Monday and Friday in the cafeteria. Meals cost $3.00 and include salad, bread, juice, coffee/tea, & dessert. Take-out meals are $4.00.
