Congratulations to eighth grade students Adam Fleischman and Holly Parady, who were selected to receive this year’s Superintendent’s Award sponsored by the South Central Area Superintendent’s Association (SCASA). This award is based on academic success, leadership to the school community, community service, and service to others.
Team Black proudly selected Adam Fleischman for the SCASA Student Recognition Award. Adam is a leader in the classroom and has maintained strong grades in his time at AMSB. He is a diligent student, and the care that he demonstrates for his learning is evident in the work he produces. Adam is a role model for his peers through active participation in class discussions and active engagement in class activities. In addition to his academic achievements, he competes on the community swim team and is a bassoon player. He also demonstrates a commitment to his community. Adam helps with his synagogue’s gift shop website. He is a great example of what it means to Be AMITY. Adam is awesome!
The Gold Team is thrilled to recognize Holly Parady for the SCASA Student Recognition Award. Holly is a hard-working student who consistently puts forth her best effort in everything she does. Despite the global pandemic, Holly continues to be an active member of her school community. She is always willing to help a classmate understand a concept with which they are struggling. In addition, she is involved in the Diversity Club. In seventh grade, Holly played on the AMSB basketball team. Outside of school, Holly plays both premier/travel soccer and basketball. Holly is a wonderful young lady who embodies our BE AMITY motto. Her outgoing and friendly personality, along with her strong abilities as a student, truly represent an Amity student being her best self. For these qualities, we believe Holly is deserving of this outstanding Award.
