East Hartford, CT—Michael Berkley has earned a spot on the Goodwin College Dean’s List for the Spring 2018. Michael, a student from Woodbridge, is one of 932 students to make the Dean’s List, reserved for those who demonstrate great academic performance. Dean’s List inclusion requires a student to earn a minimum 3.5 GPA, the equivalent of an A- average, during a given academic session. The student must also be enrolled in a minimum of six academic credits to qualify. Rochester, NY—Nora Pfund of Woodbridge, who is in the photographic sciences program, made the Dean’s List for the spring semester at Rochester Institute of Technology. Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean’s List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of “Incomplete”, “D” or “F”; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.
Oxford, OH—Flavia Stanton of Woodbridge was among more than 3,900 students from Miami University who received degrees during spring commencement exercises Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Millett Hall. Stanton graduated with a BA degree, majoring in Strategic Communication.

Rochester, NY—Nora Pfund of Woodbridge graduated from RIT with a BS in photographic sciences. RIT conferred 4,747 degrees this academic year at all its campuses-including in Croatia, Dubai, Kosovo and China. The university held its 133rd annual commencement celebration in May.

Kingston, RI—At the University of Rhode Island’s 132nd Commencement on Saturday and Sunday, May 19-20, 2018, about 3,300 undergraduate and 750 graduate students became the University’s newest alumni. Olivia Lynn Schlegel of Woodbridge, CT, received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management Summa Cum Laude. Students who received the honor summa cum laude graduated with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.7; students who received the honor of magna cum laude graduated with a GPA of at least 3.50; and students who received the honor of cum laude graduated with a GPA of at least 3.3.
