Dean’s/Prsident’s List

Colgate University

Hamilton, NY—William Caracciolo, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2019, has earned the fall 2018 Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence.  Caracciolo is a graduate of Amity Regional High School from Woodbridge, CT. Caracciolo’s current major is Computer Science.  Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.3 or higher while completing at least three courses earn the fall 2018 Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence.

Hofstra University

Hempstead, NY—Victoria Staniewicz of Woodbridge, CT excelled during the Fall 2018 semester, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the Dean’s List

Fairfield University

Fairfield, CT – The following Fairfield University student from Woodbridge received Dean’s List Honors for the Fall 2018 semester:  Madison Bietsch.  In order to be placed on the Dean’s List, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours in a semester, have no outstanding or incomplete grades for that semester, and have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better.

James Madison University

Harrisonburg, VA—Natalie Pyne, of Woodbridge, CT has been named to the president’s list at James Madison University for the fall 2018 session.  Students who earn president’s list honors must be considered by the registrar to be carrying a full time course load of graded credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.900 or above.

Purchase College

Purchase, NY—Daniel Kuriakose of Woodbridge, CT, has been named to Purchase College’s Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester.  Kuriakose is studying Creative Writing, Literature.  To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 for Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science programs and 3.75 for Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Music Performance programs.  They must take a minimum of 12 credits.

University of Hartford

West Hartford, CT—The University of Hartford is pleased to announce Domenico Canepari of Woodbridge has been named to its Dean’s List for Fall 2018.

Washington University in St. Louis

St Louis, MO – The following students have been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester at Washington University in St. Louis, College of Arts & Sciences:  Lauren Duhl, and Lisa Gorham.  To qualify for the Dean’s List in the College of Arts & Sciences, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.6 or above and be enrolled in at least 14 graded units.

Those named to the Washington University in St. Louis McKelvey School of Engineering for the fall 2018 semester are:  Mollie Seidner and Mathew Whitehill.  To qualify for the Dean’s List in the McKelvey School of Engineering, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.6 or above and be enrolled in at least 12 graded units.

University of New Haven

West Haven, CT – The following Woodbridge students received degrees from the University of New Haven at Commencement ceremonies in December:  Tara Gambardella, College of Business, Master of Business Administration; Joy Miu, School of Health Sciences, Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene; and Catherine Wick, Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences, Master of Public Administration.

Honor Roll

Notre Dame High School

West Haven, CT—Notre Dame High School of West Haven President Mr. Robert Curis and Vice President for Student Success, Mr. Joseph A. Ramirez, announced the honor roll for the Second Quarter of the 2018-19 academic year.  The Honor Roll is based on Second Quarter final grades which ran from Monday, October 22, 2018 through Monday, January 14, 2019.  First honors indicate an average of 90 or better; Second honors indicate an average of 85-89.999.  Those students from Woodbridge attaining First Honors:  Max Raffin, Class of 2022.  Those from Woodbridge attaining Second Honors are:  Yixuan (Jason) Xiang, Classe of 2019.

Sacred Heart Academy

Sacred Heart Academy Principal, Sr. Kathleen Mary Coonan, ASCJ, ’76 has announced the Honor Roll for the First Semester of the 2018 – 2019 academic school year.  The following Woodbridge resident was named to the Honor Roll:  HIGH HONORS – Eleanor Luciani.  Academic Honors are awarded at the end of each semester to students attaining an average of 3.5 or better. Those students who achieve a grade point average of 3.8 or better are awarded High Honors.
