Muhlenberg Basketball Player Reaches 1,000-Point Milestone
Allentown, PA—If it seems like the cheering at Memorial Hall has been louder recently, there’s a good reason: Three Muhlenberg basketball seniors reached the 1,000-point milestone in home wins in a span of eight days. Rachel Plotke of Woodbridge became the 12th member of the women’s basketball 1,000-point club when she hit a three-pointer in the first quarter of a 71-41 win against Swarthmore on January 31. The milestone shot was appropriate for Plotke, one of the top three-point shooters in Centennial history. The win improved the 18th-ranked Mules’ record to 19-1.
Elizabeth H. Ewing Of Colby College Named To Highly Selective Dean’s List
Waterville, ME—Elizabeth H. Ewing of Woodbridge, Conn., was recently named to the highly selective Dean’s List at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2017-18 academic year. Ewing is one of 469 Colby students—or 24 percent of the qualified student body—to qualify for the Dean’s List last semester. Ewing, a member of the Class of 2021, attended Amity Regional High School and is the daughter of Michael Ewing and Michele Goyette-Ewing of Woodbridge, Conn. Ewing earned a semester grade point average of 3.77 or higher last fall to be included on Colby’s highly selective Dean’s List. She majored in undeclared.
Michael Berkley Makes Goodwin Dean’s List For Fall 2017
East Hartford, CT—Michael Berkley has earned a spot on the Goodwin College Dean’s List for the Fall 2017.
