Students in picture: Aman Thombre, Rosie Du, Isabel Salazar, Felix Lu, Thomas Livesay, Kate Yuan, Catalina Betancur, Neha Sudhir, Nico Sagnelli, Samuel Farbman, Romulus Sottile, Austin Gilbride, Allison Fischman and Research Program Director, Mr. Kevin Berean.

The students pictured above are members of AMSB’s Social Robotics and Engineering Research Program, an ambitious program that launched three years ago at the school to provide students with a strong interest and ability in STEM with an opportunity to experience the research process in preparation for similar pursuits in high school and beyond.

Since its inception, students in the program have competed at the annual Science and Engineering Fair held at Quinnipiac University, which brings over 500 of the best science and engineering projects from around the state under one roof for a week of wonder and intense competition. Over the past three years, AMSB students have taken home multiple awards and prizes for their impressive research projects.
