Board of Selectmen
Tony is currently serving on the Board of Selectmen. In the past two years on the board, he has immersed himself in town affairs, serving as BOS liaison to the Recreation, Conservation, CUPOP, and Inland Wetlands Commissions. Tony is particularly active in the Woodbridge Rotary. This past summer, he worked with the Recreation Commission and Recreation Department to create the first “Woodbridge Health Fair” as well as the “Taste of Woodbridge” events at the July summer concerts. These events were both highly attended and successful at bringing our community together.
A lifelong Bethany and Woodbridge resident and Amity graduate, Tony has been involved in the community for many years. He and his wife, Lisa, have two sons, Robert and Raymond, who are graduates of Beecher Road School and current students at Amity High School.
“My great grandparents came to Woodbridge well over 100 years ago to farm the land and raise their family. My mother Anne Perrotti Anastasio and her siblings worked on those farms their entire childhoods. As a child I grew up helping my grandfather Frank Perrotti Sr. at his Garden Center and with his properties. Now as a father of two sons who my wife and I have brought up and sent to the wonderful schools here in Woodbridge, I look forward to continuing to try and help make Woodbridge a place that someday my two sons will be as proud to raise their families as my grandparents were over 100 years go. It is my intention to help maintain Woodbridge’s carefully planned zoning, and beautiful open space, while returning the town to its excellence and its promise for future generations to come.”
