I am a lifelong resident of Merritt Avenue – in the Woodbridge “Flats”. We need change at Town Hall. Ed Sheehy was an Ace and a humble man. He listened to our simple concerns and had our backs. I cannot say the same about Ellen Scalettar and the way she conducts business. Within the last year or so, I had a simple problem with a neighbor landlord. I went to Town Hall along with some neighbors who had similar problems. We had a meeting with Ms. Scalettar. While my neighbors and I shared our concerns, we all noticed that she was looking at her watch – not interested it seemed to us.
Folks, we can no longer tolerate Town Hall’s total disregard of the Flats; control of Woodbridge in the hands of a few families and friends; never ending Merritt Avenue bridge project; pools of runoff water in our yards; parking chaos resulting in no mail delivery; Landin Street traffic…and on and on. We need someone we can talk to who cares and wants to listen.
The first time I met Cathy Wick she came into my yard and we talked. I had never met her before but she took the time to come to my house and ask for my vote. We had a long conversation. I believe in Cathy and her team and their concern for the Flats. They will get my vote on May 4.
Help me fight for change on May 4 with a vote for Cathy Wick and her team.
