Wick has a Clear Vision of Protecting Open Space

Wick has a Clear Vision of Protecting Open Space

On Monday, May 4th, Woodridge voters will have the responsibility of making a choice for the future of our Town. Local elections don’t always get the most attention. However, the leadership provided by our elected local officials has a great impact on our lives, our community, and the quality of life we enjoy in Woodbridge. This is one reason I am honored to be seeking election to the Woodbridge Board of Education. I am also proud of my fellow running mates who also want to make Woodbridge a better place for all its residents. All of these individuals are exemplary candidates for the positions they seek.

Cathy Wick heads the Republican ticket. She has a clear vision that includes protecting open space and safeguarding zoning regulations. She supports the implementation of fiscal discipline on Town spending. She has pledged to create a Town government that is both inclusionary and transparent. She welcomes open, honest discussion about the matters that face Woodbridge and is willing to research and explore a wide variety of solutions to pending issues.

Maria Kayne has joined incumbents Tony Anastasio and Joe Dey on the Board of Selectmen slate. Tony and Joe have worked tirelessly for Woodbridge residents over the past two years. They do the work that needs to be done to make the most informed decisions that impact all of us. Maria continues to actively work to protect open space while preserving the quality and character of our Town.

The Republican slate of candidates includes individuals who are devoted to the Town of Woodbridge. Eight of the thirteen candidates are “homegrown”. The remaining five have chosen Woodbridge as their hometown, the place to raise their families. We are dedicated and enthusiastic about making our Town a wonderful place to live.

Woodbridge is a unique and special community. Woodbridge needs unique and special community leaders. Please join me on Monday, May 4th, in voting for a team that is committed to working “For Woodbridge…for a change!”

Lynn A. Piascyk
