The Woodbridge Library Farmer’s Market is back for its third year. The market will open on Wednesday, June 29 and run weekly on Wednesdays from 3:30 – 6:30pm through August 31. Vendors include: Before and After Farms (meats), Fox Hollow Farm (maple syrup), Massaro Community Farm, Merry Mountain Farm, Mapleview Farm (fiber crafts), The Olive Oil Factory, Sweet Seidner’s Bake Shoppe and more. There will also be a wood-stove pizza truck.
Don’t miss our opening day entertainment. Throughout the market magician, Ed Pop, will be making balloon animals! At 5pm, singer Brian Gillie will be performing The Roots of Rock ‘N Roll. Unlike any history lesson you have ever seen, Brian’s Roots of Rock ‘n’ Roll is a hip, one-hour, interactive retro-groove of singing, dancing, history, stand-up piano playing, original sound bites, radio commercials, impersonations and attitude. It’s the story of rock’s first fifteen years and its evolution through gospel, rhythm & blues and country and western. Meet the singers and rock groups from doo-wop, Motown, girl groups, surfin’, soul music, novelty songs and more; Little Richard to Coasters, Chuck Berry to Beatles, Elvis to Four Seasons. It’s the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of fame delivered to you. This is a great show for the whole family! Bring a blanket or chairs and get ready to rock!
