Woodbridge Republican Town Committee Announces Slate for Town Elections

The Woodbridge Republican Town Committee has announced its slate of candidates running in the upcoming May 3, 2021 Woodbridge municipal elections. The candidates were nominated in a unanimous caucus, done virtually to comply with social distancing. The Woodbridge Republican Town Committee is proud to announce: David A. Lober, David Vogel, and Stephen B. Francis as Board of Selectmen candidates. Sarah Beth Del Prete, incumbent Daniel Cowan, Brooke Hopkins and Jeff Luck (2-year term) as Woodbridge Board of Education candidates. Roy Ivins and Sanjay Gupta for Amity Board of Education. Previous Board member Janet Barillari for Board of Assessment appeals. Previous Board member Robert A. Wiznia, Barbara Hagan-Smith, Muffy German, and Lin Yang (Alternate) for Woodbridge Zoning Board of Appeals.

“The campaign theme is Vote Row B for Balance.  The slate will promote good local government by bringing balance to our town, which has been dominated by single party rule for over well over a decade” said Woodbridge Republican Town Committee Chairman Chuck Pyne.  He expressed his optimism for voters to be very impressed with the slate and expressed confidence that highlighting the key issues facing our town and how they have been addressed by the current leadership will play a major role in communicating with voters – and they will be pleased to have an opportunity for new leadership on May 3.
