USTA (United States Tennis Association) New England is proud to announce it has selected Woodbridge resident Herb Mendelsohn as its 2017 Connecticut Volunteer of the Year. Mendelsohn, along with 30 other award winners, will be recognized at the annual Awards Ceremony to take place on January 20, 2018 at the Courtyard by Marriott in Marlborough, MA.
“Our award winners exemplify the very best of tennis in New England,” said Scott Steinberg, USTA New England President and CEO. “Their remarkable efforts on and off the court have been instrumental in continuing to grow the game. We are delighted to have this opportunity to recognize and celebrate their accomplishments.”
The Volunteer of the Year award is given annually to a member of the tennis community in each of the seven USTA New England regions for his/her hard work and dedication to growing the sport of tennis.
