Chantel Malin, a student at Hopkins School and a Woodbridge resident, has joined the fight against adolescent and young adult cancer, working with the Dear Jack Foundation. She invites others to join her. On August 17, the family-owned Country Corner Diner in Bethany is generously donated 15% of the proceeds from meals to the Dear Jack Foundation, which was founded in 2006 by musician and leukemia survivor Andrew McMahon. This foundation supports organizations and provides programming that addresses the unique challenges of cancer patients and survivors aged 15-39, working to create more positive health outcomes and improved quality of life for all young adults in this fight.
