
Chalk Art Family Fun Kicks off Second Saturday Series
Families can create some bright, happy chalk art pictures and join the fun around the Woodbridge Center. Meet at 4 Meetinghouse Lane on May 8th from 10:00 am to noon. Rain date is May 15. Enjoy the outdoors, play some games, and bring a picnic. Please call 203-389-3429 to register for available space. Chalk will be provided to registered families. Masks are required.
Home Alone Class
2-Day class on Thursdays, May 6 and 13, 4 to 5:15 pm will be held in the Center Gym at 4 Meetinghouse Lane. For children ages 9 – 12. Fee is $15 and includes snack. Topics include: Answering phones, someone at the door, fire safety, calling 911, internet safety, and nutritious snacks. Space is limited. Woodbridge Job Bank Seeks Teens Who Want Work
The Job Bank in Woodbridge offers occasional jobs to teen residents (ages 13 – 18) who would like to work to earn some extra cash. The application process provides an opportunity to learn about the interview process, safety on the job, and how to negotiate pay.
Due to COVID-19, most jobs are currently outdoors with masks and social distancing as required. Teens can do yard work, weeding, dog walking, raking, etc. Weeders are in demand. Red Cross Babysitter Training
