Yonatan Zamir is an attorney for the New Haven Legal Assistance Association. He graduated with a BA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and earned his JD from Hofstra University of Law.
He and his wife, Claire Coleman, actively decided to move to Woodbridge four years ago with their two young daughters who are now in 2nd grade at Beecher Road School, where his mother-in-law Diane King taught 3rd grade for many years. Yonatin’s father-in-law was the late David King, former longtime Board of Finance member.
Yoni served on the Jewish Family Service Board from 2014-2015. Yoni believes that it is our obligation as citizens to participate actively in our democratic process, now more than ever. He insists we must shape our own destiny, so that we may better understand the needs of our local neighbors. As Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate he hopes to see this through.
