Babysitter Training Held in Woodbridge
Woodbridge Youth Services held a 2-day Red Cross Babysitter Training last week in the Woodbridge Library where students learned basic child care and how to respond to emergency situations. Many of these students will be joining the Woodbridge Job Bank and may be available for babysitting.
Seventh Grade Picnic/Bethwood Bash

Woodbridge and Bethany incoming 7th graders (including private schoolers) will join old friends and new at the annual Seventh Grade Picnic on Thursday, August 25th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. It will be a blast on the Woodbridge Green at 4 Meetinghouse Lane near the gazebo. Don’t miss the Giant Slide, pizza, music, games and dancing with an interactive D.J., and the free raffle! Admission is only $5.00 for the first big event of the school year! Rain location is Woodbridge Center Building Gym. Please register now at 203-389-3429. Participants must be residents of Woodbridge or Bethany who are entering seventh grade.
Volunteers and prizes needed!
Parents, grandparents, college students, and high school juniors and seniors are encouraged to help. It’s a great way to support our young teens!
