After School Programs at Amity Middle School-Bethany

Woodbridge and Bethany 7th and 8th grade students had a fun evening during the Back to School Bash which took place September 16, 2016, on the Woodbridge Town Green. The event included the Meltdown inflatable, contests, raffle prizes, a DJ, and refreshments.

Digital Photography for Teens

Digital Photography for Teens is an introductory class, taught by a photojournalist, for students who want to get the most out of their digital cameras. Students will meet after school from 2:25 until 3:55 in the computer lab on Thursdays. (The late bus is available on Thursdays at 4pm.) The course will run for 10 weeks beginning on October 6th. (No class on 11/24.) Fee is $80. If a student does not have access to a camera, other arrangements may be made. A discount for siblings and financial assistance may be arranged for qualifying families. For more information, please contact Woodbridge Youth Services at 203-389-3429. Fun Fitness Cooking

The Fun, Fitness Cooking Class will be postponed. If you are interested in the class, please contact Youth Services at 203-389-3429 to be placed on the wait list.

Halloween Bash on October 30th

The Halloween Bash is Friday, October 28th from 7:00 – 9:30 PM in the Center Building Gym located at 4 Meetinghouse Lane in Woodbridge. All 7th and 8th grade students residing in Woodbridge and Bethany are welcome. Private school students are encouraged to attend. The evening will include a DJ, pizza, games and raffle prizes, as well as mummy wrap, donut eating and costume contests, all for $5.00. Youth Services needs parent/guardian chaperones at each of our events. Donations of bathroom tissue for the Mummy Wrap and raffle prizes are needed.
