The 20th Annual Seventh Grade Picnic for local residents was a great success due to the energy of the students, the great weather, some fun music and games, mini-golf, pizza, and raffle prizes. Dignitaries who attended encouraged students to work hard, but have fun. Woodbridge First Selectman Beth Heller, Bethany Selectman Clark Hurlburt, Amity Interim Superintendent James Connelly, Principal Dr. Richard Dellinger, and Assistant Principal Thayer Doyle each said a few words. Senator George Logan stopped in to give his support.
Students look forward to their Back to School Blowout on Friday, September 21st, also at Amity Middle School-Bethany. Woodbridge Youth Services and the Town of Bethany sponsor Youth Evening Programs.
